In addition to silicone plugs and caps (resistant up to 315°C), concerning the lower temperature during an anodizing treatment, Euromask® provides also EPDM plugs and caps (resistant up to 177°C), which are cheaper but the same efficient for anodizing operations. Plugs and caps are available in different shapes, basing on the part that needs to be masked: conical, cylindrical, with handle for remove them more easier, etc. They can be used, for example, to protect a hole that you want to maintain with the same diameter (in the picture). All of these shapes are available in different sizes, even on demand. About adhesive tapes, in PET, Polyimide and other materials, they resist up to 204° till 300°C, and they ensure easy application and removal, leaving the surface perfectly clean and without adhesive trace.
